Protests for and against the Egyptian military government are again taking place in Tahrir Square in Cairo. The protests were provoked by the violent clashes of the previous day when demonstrators headed to the Ministry of Defence and were stopped by a police cordon. This cut off their way back to Tahrir Square. They were pelted with stones from the rooftops by civilians.Around 300 people were injured. Some of the opposition activists have gone on hunger strike during the protests to demand that the military government makes fast reforms.
