2014 — Video CAPTURED
Excerpt from the video CAPTURED
Nigeria - 276 schoolgirls are kidnapped from a boarding school in the northern Nigerian city of Chibok by the Islamist group Boko Haram in April 2014. All international interventions to release the girls remained unsuccessful for a long time. Until April 2018, about 100 girls were still considered missing. Monika Huber traces the group picture of the abducted schoolgirls with an imaginary pencil, while the names of the abducted girls are mentioned. Only about 50 girls could be recognized by their parents in the group picture.
